On the Aluminium Group and Soft Pad ranges the suspended or panelled seat and back are the parts that show age first. Split or worn panels are re-covered, and flattened padding is renewed to the correct density so the seat supports weight properly again rather than simply looking better.
Licensed and replica versions
A great many Eames-style chairs in London offices are licensed versions or replicas rather than originals, and we repair those too. The construction varies (some are close copies, some are built quite differently underneath) so we work from what's actually in front of us rather than assuming a standard part will fit.
